Ness
Mr Ness kept saying that I didn't need to wait for a negative test but I'm glad I did.

Yeah I think in theory I could be back in circulation from Tuesday but I don’t think I will if still positive. Also the way I feel today is odd. Not unwell as such but just an element of lethargy. Being at home and knowing I can just flop on the sofa as and when required is appealing. And that’s even having had another pretty good nights sleep.

I felt like that for the first couple of days, Baz. And if I sat down or lay down at all, I fell asleep! That is definitely not usual for me!

I think sleep plays a very important part in the recovery process. It certainly did for me.

Fields
I still don’t understand how I only tested positive for 5 days. I must have been lucky.

2 weeks on, I have a slight cough which remains and is triggered by trying to do things like sing. It’s probably best for everyone I don’t do that anyway if I’m honest.

Had you been positive for a few days but not tested fields?

With time on my hands I have been thinking back and I now reckon I caught covid in Spain and not on the journey back as it was just too quick.

I had felt some mild stomach cramps on the day we returned which I had put down to being either a hangover from my being sick on the day I arrived in Spain or maybe from a slightly undercooked Spanish omelette. However I reckon that was the start of symptoms and On the day before I tested positive the stomach cramps did result in a, well think you can guess without me saying.

What really bothers me though is how on earth I picked it up as the nature of our holiday was that I had next to no close contact with anyone outside my wife and daughter. And any I did was brief and outdoors. We did travel on a bus for about 20 mins last Wednesday which could have been where I caught it. Ironically I noticed that there was 100% mask compliance on the Spanish buses.

Fields
I think I must have been Bazo but my symptoms came on quite suddenly. I went from feeling fine to in a fever within a few hours

I was pretty close to all clear LFT after six days. Then back to fairly strong positive.

I’m being more careful because my wife has an undiagnosed immune condition, last vaccine 8 months ago.

Light cough and hint of sore throat (more so in the morning) are the lingering symptoms for me.
