Thanks LMH. My throat isn't as sore as it was this morning and if I don't do much I don't feel too bad. My chest still feels weird/achy and I'm a bit out of puff if I do stuff. I don't know if I'm actually up to going out to pick up shopping, certainly not today/tomorrow, it's more planning. I'm in a 3rd floor flat and the lift is broken, I couldn't do the stairs at the moment.

Day 6 here and an almost instant positive ☹️

I too should go back to work (school) on Monday but I don’t think that’ll be happening. I have loads of admin I can do from home, but that doesn’t help my science department in terms of practical work much. Am loath to pass this on as it’s been horrible

I did a test again today and an immediate big fat red despite me feeling on the mend.

I’ve sat in the garden a bit but when the sun has come out I have had to go inside as I was overheating.

Sadly missing out on an afternoon tea for my wife’s birthday but my parents have stepped in to replace me and my mother in law who has non covid reasons keeping her away.

Is there no one local you can reach out to who can help you out Purps? I'm always loath to ask but I know that my neighbours/people on the local FB group would happily collect some shopping if I needed it - as I would for them.

Lmh I don't actually live where I'm staying and it's 25mins from home. I don't know anyone here. I've actually ordered a tesco delivery, I made up the value and will take stuff home if there's anything left. As for clothes, I could get my ex to drop off stuff, but I'd have to explain what's what and where.

Interesting to read everyone’s experience on this thread. I tested positive on Weds - very faint line. Thick as a sharpie pen mark yesterday! Been feeling pretty rough but mainly sore throat, fever first couple of days, headache and fatigue.
I strongly suspect 3,000 unmasked people singing Dancing Queen and Waterloo at the tops of their voices (ABBA Voyage) on 16th was to blame. We were the only ones who were masked.
Feeling a bit better yesterday so hoping to be able to wfh fm tomorrow. Running seems a way off yet, sadly.

After feeling better yesterday morning I developed a bit of a headache and what I would describe as brain fog. It’s still there this morning. I also feel pretty washed out. Still got some way to go with this I reckon.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Baz.

My lateral flow test was negative! At last!
