Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

[Agreed - a gentle nudge will send the topic over to the P thread, I think.]

I'm ignoring the politics side

I know we were concerned about data usage and big brother

given the t&T calls don't seem to be working too well will the app?

A few gradual changes in Scotland announced. Shops which have a door onto the street can open, only essential shops can be open in a shopping centre. Those shielding can exercise outside and visit someone in their garden and single people can have someone stay over.

That's not good Gooner - I've been able to get through to my GP much more easily.

What is it about the T&T calls that you don't think is working very well that the app will make better EP?

Sounds positive UC.

To be honest I wish the various U.K. governments could work together and have the same approach. I find it hard to remember the variations.

LMH the people not calling back or having wrong contact details

I'm not sure why people would respond to a warning on an app if they won't respond to a text, email or phone call.

I still can't get over the fact that we've got one NHS but four different approaches to the pandemic depending on where we live. I'd always downplayed the significance of devolution, so it's been a real eye opener for me to see how deep the practical impacts can be.

[Not intending that to sound political, just a commentary on how C19 is affecting my perspective on life as a UK citizen - I hope I don't end up temporarily derailling the thread by responding to Baz there]
