But thinking about my local (London, zone 2) station, there are so many options regarding train length etc, plus the fact that a lot of urban trains are very open with no doors between the carriages (i.e. you could walk from one end of the train to the other if you wanted) I can't see it being practical. And much as I hate wearing a mask, if it's a reasonable public health measure in certain situations like public transport then people should just do it rather than having a choice. It's not enforced, though, even though it's supposedly mandatory on TfL transport.
