Muttley
ABC - The Look of Love.

One of those albums that just appeared out of the blue, perfectly formed.

But I think my taste won't really match many on here so I'll keep my own counsel of some of the shite I've been re-listening to and enjoying :)

So, a little different but some that I think are true classic albums

Genesis - Duke, or 3 Sides Live
Natalie Merchant - Tigerlilly - the most beautiful album ever made
Brucey - Darkness on the Edge of Town - 'cos it is better than Born to Run
Deacon Blue - Raintown - I am Scottish after all
Dire Straits - Alchemy Live - just drift away with those guitars
Frankie - Welcome to the Pleasure Dome - Bang!
Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison - then watch Walk the Line
Prince - Love Symbol - My Name is.... and I am sooooooo funky
Proclaimers - This is the Story - Throw the R Away on your Letter from America
Radiohead - OK computer - yes, it is old enough to be a classic
The The - Soul Mining - This is the day and the Twilight Hour

Honley Lion
Harvest - Neil Young - Much preferred him solo rather than with Crosby, Stills & Nash

Carole King's Tapestry. It's already been mentioned but I've had it on vinyl, cassette, CD, downloaded it on iTunes and now listen to it on Spotify!

Some Fetchies have been mentioning or revisiting some of the classics, so not necessarily a new album to them and definitely not a *new* new album. As such, I thought we could have a new thread to discuss such classics.

Already mentioned:
Van Morrison Astral weeks
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds

I've been wondering, depending on whether there's any demand for it, that participants might each suggest a classic album (per month?) so that t...
