Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

They were possibly the last mile time trials I ran.

Quite happy to keep it that way :-)

There are still Busway Bandits steaming up and down it. You'll find them at the sharp end of a marathon like Valencia.

I think the thread's been culled. The event is still in the race database, with an Event Website that's a Fetch thread that doesn't exist. fetcheveryone.com/races/busway-purgatory-jubilee-mile-time-trial-71907

Probably only as far as Swavesey Rich, short of both time and leg power today

@RichHL ,
@HellsBells wouldn't be able to get to St. Ives because the Busway bridlepath is badly flooded between Swavesey and St. Ives, and is impassable without underwater breathing apparatus.

The guided busway mile? Or this thread?! Or the old parkrun? If the first best wait for @Flatlander to resurface with his underwater breathing apparatus.

Hi @HellsBells @RichHL and all. Unfortunately I’m too far from this fun(hell)scape to join in these days.

@EarlyRiser The previous Guided Busway Mile was run on the bridleway towards the Cambridge end of the Busway and that stretch is safe (usually) from flooding.

You'll have to organise an event where you now live so we can come and have a funscape with you. ;-)
