Hello! Me and my blokey are coming as part of the Bedford contingent. Looking forward to it.:-) Are the trail shoes advisable?

After last week I'd suggest ice skates

I did this a few weeks ago, coincidentally when Tom Williams was there, and I was two minutes slower than planned getting round as I had road shoes on and it was a bit muddy/slippy! Trail shoes would have been good. I was interested to see that there's a kebab van at the end of the road too, if anyone's included at that time of the morning!

Ooh, Fetchfest
Definitely trail shoes, IMO.
Parking can get quite frantic just before 9am. It's best to arrive at around 8:45 to avoid the frayed tempers.
There's a first timers (at Cambridge parkrun) briefing at around 8:55.

I won't be running but can't volunteer due to 2 year old needing to be entertained so I'll head for the finish funnel to say hello to you all.
