Lyra OK
Nice to meet you, TeaJay, albeit briefly.

The area outside the gates is going to be double yellow lines at some point. For what it's worth the £2 goes towards the upkeep of the park, which I don't mind paying as a bit of a thank you for letting us hold the event. :)

£2 is ok considering you are doing a free race.

Nice to meet you too Lyra and BW.

Sure, I don't mind paying £2 at all. It was just that I didn't have it on me and thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was as muddleheaded as me and didn't have £2 on them!

Hopefully I'll get along a do one of these in February but I've already earmarked 13th March as I can double up with the Roman Road run in the afternoon.

Gosh, getting close now! How exciting.

We could do with a handful of willing runners for the pilot run on 23rd January. Let me know if you fancy taking part. Do bear in mind that things will and should go wrong - it's an opportunity for us to learn how to use the equipment and mistakes are likely to be made. Should be fun though!

Will probably start the pilot run around midday.

I reckon I can make the 23rd, subject to timing and my dodgy foot feeling a bit better (ran tonight , so hopefully it has cleared)

Lyra, I'm doing a 10 mile race the next day, but could be there if you are short of helpers

Pencil me in as a maybe. I really need to do a long hilly offroad run that day, but if I can't arrange anything suitable (or if my poorly car doesn't get fixed in time) I can do a road route with a 5K jog in the middle :-)
