Lyra OK
Sounds fun, Ted, but I'll take a snorkel.

Sorry to hear that, Hells. Cars officially suck.

the things you say make me laugh, ted: "lovely and splashy thought"

I wish you many.

Only now I saw the run for today @ 9am.
Was ok? No bums on ice?

It's okay, tuga, we were just measuring the course so no running was done. Treated ourselves to a lovely coffee in the café afterwards all the same.

No ice to be seen, thankfully. Few large puddles here and there, but nothing dramatic.

Was it lashing it down at the time?

what do you mean - "nothing dramatic"? Don't you recall wading through thigh deep mud and floods as predicted by Ted ;-)?

But, in all seriousness, the wheel of fortune turned out well for us, and the route starts and finishes at just the right points. As the psalmist once said, "the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places"

The photos we took all turned out a bit pants because the weather was rubbish. Got a half decent one of the finish area.

Forgot you have to pay for parking at MCP now- I don't usually drive there. Didn't have £2 so I parked at Tesco instead (almost opposite). There seems to be quite a bit of room to park just outside the gates too.
And it didn't take me as long as I'd feared to get there from the other side of Cambridge. Luckily there's not much traffic at that time in the morning :-)
