lady alton
Just got back from Cambridge after dropping off junior and seen the news! how great is this! and I will be back in Cambridge that weekend and would love to join you! I am registered for parkrun any how so won't need to register! Happy to marshal if that would be helpful although that depends on how early you would want me there! I am staying at a hotel in the centre of town so will prob need to drive out to the park.
Really looking forwards to seeing this!

Add it to your favourites, Stu. :)

Good stuff lady alton and RT! Do let your clubs know about the parkrun - it would be good to spread the word. If you'd like to help, and we'd be very grateful for your time, do let me know. Best to contact via the Cambridge parkrun site parkrun.org.uk or if you can't get to grips with that, pling me an fmail.

I do think pling is a fabulous, not to mention underused, word. I employ it where I can. With discretion. :)

Yep, that bridge is a bit skinny - thought I'd send the course round it. Do you think the proposed course works?

Yes, It works for me. I run the park anti-clockwise anyway so that is what is natural (for me).

The start is nice and wide and even after the first turn it stays wide enough to allow any crowd to thin out.

The plingish straight is great too (see what I did there) as you have plenty of visibility to see runners come in. The open area on the left and the mound on the right. :)

Great, glad the course meets your approval, Ted. I particularly like the finish with the mound - think it'll be very good for those watching.

Is it a bit sad that I woke up thinking about course signage this morning?

Be super to see you when you can get there, rosay! :)
