Sounds an odd bit to block off... With luck they'll reopen it, but with the size of the park I think we can have some flexibility in the route we use. Should be meeting with the MCP folk again soon along with someone from the Council's sports development department - I'll drop you an email with all the details later, BW. Anyway, during the meeting I'll find out more about that section of the run. |

Cheers, BW. Might head over there tomorrow after meeting Anita from Parkrun. It's not like I don't know the route, but always nice to have a plod around MCP. |

Aha, I thought that that may be the loops, I will try and get out on Thursday lunchtime if I can and have a scoot around. Although, I may not get a lunch break the way that day is panning out. Hey Ho, back at work |

Nice one, BW! Love the music too. Might be fun to borrow a camera, stick it on the front of a bike and cycle round. We could post a speeded up version on youtube - I think that might be what the organisers of MK parkrun have done/intend to do. Had a run around MCP this morning and everywhere appears to be open and accessible for running, so that's good news! Very successful and encouraging meeting with Anita from parkrun this morning too. More on that later, I'd best do some work. |

Anyone fancy a jaunt around MCP at lunchtime? My trip to Colchester has been cancelled and I was wise enough to bring in my running kit. FTW!!

Wise move Sir, that snow out there wan't funny when it arrived. Really small snow flakes hurt when they hit you in he eye. FWIW, I like the route. If I ran the correct route that is. Also a very good choice of finish line. Distance was spot on by my Garmin. |
