I was about to tell Pix that I thought you were a bedtime yoga person, hp. As Tomsmum suggests - it depends on the individual.

Try it and see! I'd certainly advise taking the endof the session seriously though... there's always a bit of a wind down and sometimes Adriene suggests staying a while longer and just 'being', which would help at bedtime.

I've had a quick look at the session, yes its long but doesn't look too taxing so think I'll do my hour of lower body strength and conditioning first.

Actually FIRST I will nip up to the shops for some food,THEN I will do some work THEN
my exercise hour.

Looks like Adriene will be late this affie for me.

Day 1 done. It was pretty low intensity but I tried to focus on getting the simple things done well. It went quickly, didn’t feel like 45 mins.

I agree with Katie, it went quite quickly. I liked the relaxation at the start and end. A few too many forward folds for my taste but it wasn’t hard, quite chilled out.
Adriene appears to be converting her studio into a rainforest with all those giant house plants!

Just found this thread. I've done a few YwA videos but never committed to 30 days before. I'm going to try to do each one every day, but without giving myself a hard time if I don't manage! Having said that, it's the discipline I'd benefit from, so I'm going to make the effort. I've just done today's - the hardest thing for me was just sitting still, cross-legged, without fidgeting! Which tells me everything I need to know about what I'm most going to get out of this....

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
In January 2016 fraggle decided to follow Adriene (of Yoga with Adriene fame -only she wasn't 'quite' so famous back then). It was the start of Adriene's second 30 Days of Yoga and fraggle started a thread and asked anyone interested to join in. I did, I completed the 30 days and I got a PB fpr my 60 metres at the end of it so it was certainly not detrimental....

ANYWAY

Fancy joining in with this year's 30 day programme - 'Home'?

Here's the link to Adriene's site, the link for 'Home' is right at the top
