Lammo, today's email from Planet X suggests they've lobbed some more cash off the bike.

eL Bee!
They've lobbed enough off to change the crankset and callipers for the real deal and make it all Ultegra :-D

I have in fact just ordered the Ultegra RT-90 offered in the same email.

I've got one Lammo, very nice bike. My only minor gripe is that the head tube is a little tall which means it is hard to get a good low position with clip-on tri-bars. I ended up running an inverted MTB stem on mine, which looked a bit wrong.
Be interested to hear how you get on with that Glenners, I've been stopping myself from buying RT80/90 disc for a few weeks now but am sorely tempted.

Simbil, they finally dropped the price to a point where I couldn't say no.

Looks excellent for that price. Just make sure you get the right size and don't be tempted by £100 off if you build it yourself, unless you have crown race and bottom bracket tools etc.

Having read back, my partner has tall head tube 'issues' on his px cross bike. He now also runs a downwards sloping stem.

And don't do what he did: stay in the big ring for two years, never clean your front derailleur, the try slam it in the little ring with force

I cleaned my bike at the weekend. It's got silver coloured wheels, not black!!
