Picked up a nice DeVinci Ultegra specced bike today. 2013 model but with a warranty replacement 2015 frame. First Carbon fibre framed bike I've owned. Lovely condition and all for under a grand. Can't wait to give a it a spin asap.

Mavics... Get something light and solid! Those RS 31s are elephants!

Hann, I just replaced my crosser rear wheel with a mavic open pro on a Hope hub, I *almost* didn't mind the price because of the mileage I do on it... 😭

Hmmm...open pro, again, on a Shimano hub...

I have RS31s, dont like the ride they give. i think the cheaper R500s were a better wheel.

Excellent choice for the crosser Jubear! I have run this combo for yonks, with nice bladed sapim spokes, front and rear... and they have had batterings, being used as a MTB and it has done several 3 peaks cyclocross races.

I was thinking of something lighter for your road bike though...

Any thoughts on Ksyrium Elites v Shimano Ultegra? I have the Ksyriums on my older Specialized Secteur road bike and have inherited the Ultegras on my new DeVinci. Ksyriums are great.
Anyone know if there is much difference? Is it worth the hassle of swapping them over? (Assuming the Mavics will take 10 Spd cassette)
