I thought it would be a good bike to start off with Idio, and even if I decide not to continue with the cyclo cross, it will make a good winter training bike for the rough, excessively steep roads we have here... my roadbike is a rather delicate carbon Giant TCR with only 52/39 on the front and 13/27 on the back, so I struggle up steep hills...

Planning on swapping the wheels off the roadbike back to the carbon racing wheels with few spokes and use the current training wheels as a slick set for the cross bike, to use it on the road :-) Just need to change the casettes over, as the racing wheels ahev a 11/22 on it, whichy will NEVER cope with the hills... and put the same casette as the cross bike on the current training wheels, so I can do an easy streight swap without having to change the chain :-)

OMG goes around singing la la laaaa ;)

Is 11 the smaller cog and 22 the bigger one and does it relate to the amount of (forgot the word) bits that stick out???

I'm really sorry I'm having a blonde moment. I am not taking the pi55

I test rode a Tri Cross and found it very comfy. I run 2 sets of wheels on my mountain bike all I have to do is realign the disc calipers that only takes a few seconds and quick change of the cassette. You might be lucky Hann and not have to adjust your brakes, as the rims on the Tri cross might be wider.

Not sure about the size of the rims on the tricross, but I am happy to adjust the breaks when I change the wheels...

I feel like I need a proper lesson in bikes!

I'm going swimming now, before I embarrass myself even further.
