It's a MTB idio. I put slicks on it last year, and will be only using it on the roads. I have a Road bike, but my shoulder isn't comfortable in that position yet.

Next year when I am back on the road bike then I may think about doing a bit off road.

I'm not sure if i've got some XT v-brakes knocking about. I could check at the weekend as the box I think their in is in the attic.

Oooh. I'll maybe have a look at those if you do find them, and see what you want for them, maybe I should have been more specific, I actually think I only need the brake pads!!! LOL, but a new set of brakes would go nicely on the bike :)

I'm quite up for learning how to get my hands dirty, my road bike was all set up for me and the cleats were done and pedals done for me, so I'll have to do that myself this time :)

Hann just been looking at cyclocross bikes, v nice :)

I'm hoping that my brake pads are a standard size, as I'm not sure when they were last changed. I might have to buy a new set!

Nice bike Hann. M4P i'll have a look i'm sure i've got them still but they will need new inner cable and outer.

I'll wait to find out, even if I buy new blocks for it a new set of brakes may still be in order ;)
