B.B.
Or on the other hand, get a new tube for a couple of quid and 5-10 mins work to change it.
Ride it
See if that fixed it

You doesn't possess such cunning, BB. Although the first three letters of that word might begin a word I'd use to describe her.

Sounds like a spoke nipple may have caused the puncture, worth replacing the rim tape, or put a layer of electricians tape under the stuff you have already. Leave a hole for the valve if you do the latter!

my bike was in the garage for 11 years and I only put new inner tubes in.sounds worth replacing inner tube and doing what rhb said and seeing what happens.
I am in a dilemma, C2W scheme opens today, Halfords can get me the bike I want but at £90 more than wiggle are charging at the moment ( they have special offer) I think I stand to save about £110 over all despite this but am not sure how much I will have to pay my employers at the end of the term for the bike. Therefore not sure if it is still worth it.

And then you wheel your bike into transition and, no matter how good it is, people think 'oh look, she got her bike from Halfords...'.

Is that what you want? 'Cos that's what's gonna happen...
