Great focaccia! I've lost the blade I use for sourdough scoring. That looked like a good dough - nice and firm. |

No razor blades in the flat: OH doesn't shave. But yes, easiest way to replace the thing I used to have - it was a lame, so basically a razor blade in a plastic handle.

I had a blade, but found it hard using it to score the bread. One day tried just using the bread knife, it worked great and, for me, is do much easier to do, and I’ve ‘ruined’ (by blade dragging etc) no loaves since!

I don’t know if anyone can help but here goes, on our recent trip to the lakes my husband and I had a fabulous sticky, orange flavoured tea loaf at Watendlath ( the national trust cafe). It was truly delicious and I am now trying to replicate it. I have scoured the internet for a dark, sticky orange flavoured tea cake recipe to no avail, can anyone help?
