We had a couple each for tea - they were very flaky - and have kept some for tomorrow to see if they are better cold and maybe hold together a bit better. A picnic was more or less what we had in mind, RH :)

Finished the last of the cheese straws yesterday. I still have a bruise on my hand from the extreme amount of cheese grating - pushing down on the grater handle to steady it. I will remember them well...

They look nice GM.

I'm saved from myself on the biscuit front - none of the gf offerings are that good though I was very excited when the chocolate hobnobs first came out. I would definitely like to try a Bakewell digestive.

I got up at 3am with too much going round my head. I did a couple of hours school work so I can put it to bed for a while and then baked. By 6:30am I had finished. Bero brownie recipe - too flat but they taste ok. I'll stick with my other recipe in future - and more Shrewsbury biscuits (Bero again). I made them with a 2" cutter instead of 3" so we have more ;)
