The Marmalade digestives are actually quite nice! We've got the cherry bakewell digestive slices as well, which are far too small for my liking.

Why did you have to mention Sussex pond pudding ?- that's about my most favourite comfort pud ever - the Be-Ro recipe works well.
Mum used to make a steamed suet apple dumpling as well - lush with a bit of golden syrup drizzled over...

What do you do with the lemon ‘in the pond’? Do you eat it, rind and all? 🍋

^ tbf, DT, I'd eat a Bakewell flavoured shoe! ;-)

Also reporting fruit scones (bones) made by Mrs Mouse, on the table for tea awaiting completion of sons homework (which is French and required making a crepe)!

Once the lemon rind's been cooked in that much sugar and butter it's probably very edible.

I bought rhubarb and custard flavour custard creams, but wasn't tempted by the digestives.

Cookies today, boy3 added chopped up Cadbury chocolate eclairs to one batch and mini marshmallows to the other. Both excellent but the eclairs were best.

Digestives: The marmalade ones are good, strawberries & cream are too sweet. Rhubarb & custard Creams are yummy.
