Looks really good. My two attempts at baking bread have made worthy but dull loaves at best. There’s some belting looking produce posted regularly though

What do we think of having more than one article linked to a master article? I was thinking one for bread, one for cake, one for biscuits, etc.

Or am I overthinking this?

Thanks for taking it on Linds. If you don't mind the extra work then I think an article for each would make searching for a recipe/looking for ideas easier.

Not going well. Microwave meringues didn't work. Didn't have any icing sugar so used caster. Recipe said 600g for 2 egg whites which seemed excessive and I need caster sugar so I used 500g. They rose and then sunk and then stuck to the paper. I now have shards of flat sugary stuff.

And I've discovered I am an egg short for lemon drizzle so will have to try a flax egg.

I have also accidently weed-killered one of my favourite plants. Should go back to bed.

Iced fingers taste excellent, a little rough though, made a mistake, halved the dry goods, but didn't for the wet ones (doh!, schoolboy error), so added more flour, so I made 12 instead of 6. They came out a bit too thick rather than fingers, icing is more difficult than I thought. I also added vanilla essence and saffron, so very tasty indeed.

Next time they'll look less rustic bread was good too.
