I like that Nadiya's tart, makes a change from a quiche.
Are home made oatcakes very superior to bought ones HB? It's something I've never made.

That tart's a bit like Delia's thick onion tart, which is one of my favourite ways of using up an onion glut.
Bread turned out OK - but bizarrely enough I've now decided that sourdough is both easier and more reliable than yeasted bread.

I finally round to attempting doughnuts today. It has taken all day as I’ve been wfh in between kneadings so each proving had much longer than usual. Mr GM deep fried then and I injected them - jam, apple and lemon curd (one in each, not a combination) I’m pleased with the outcome.

Those doughnuts look amazing.
Granny's rock cake recipe was as reliable ever but I strayed into the beauty tips chapter whilst I was baking them and was firmly told I should be slim and take pride in my appearance. Yeah right.
