I don't know how I've managed to miss this thread. The bakes posted on the last few pages all look splendid.
I've got a bag of polenta in the cupboard somewhere so will try making a polenta cake tomorrow - thanks for the suggestion!

I baked all the time years ago but don't find the time often, apart from school holidays. The lockdown has given me more time than I'd usually have and I've started to dabble again. Over the past month I've made Lemon Drizzle cake, Sausage and apple rolls, jam rolypoly, profiteroles and cookies. I'm really enjoying baking again

The polenta cake is made and it is ok.
I managed to get a bag of plain flour when I went to the Co op - I can't get over how happy this made me I've blogged.
