Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have to say it was pretty good and Dd2 cooked so I didn't even have to make it!

I don't know how I've managed to miss this thread. The bakes posted on the last few pages all look splendid.

I've got a bag of polenta in the cupboard somewhere so will try making a polenta cake tomorrow - thanks for the suggestion!

I baked all the time years ago but don't find the time often, apart from school holidays. The lockdown has given me more time than I'd usually have and I've started to dabble again.
Over the past month I've made Lemon Drizzle cake, Sausage and apple rolls, jam rolypoly, profiteroles and cookies. I'm really enjoying baking again

The polenta cake is made and it is ok.

I managed to get a bag of plain flour when I went to the Co op - I can't get over how happy this made me :)
I've blogged.
