It is a very restrained slice, looks good though. I found plain flour and massive 500g pack of yeast in the local spar today for under £3. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it - its selling on amazon for £16

Lol I'd normally have a bigger slice but wasn't sure how it would taste so erred on the cautious side. Mr GM wasn't tempted to try it but I think he's started a secret diet today as he didn't have any lunch either!

Is it a lemon polenta cake GM? I have a lovely recipe for that and an untried recipe for chocolate polenta cake (I'm wheat intolerant). Will be attempting the rhubarb polenta cake once current cake stocks are depleted. Baking is my default distraction activity which is fine when I can send it into work with my husband but slightly more problematic in the current circumstances. Nice baking skills DT. |

I didn't have enough lemon, LMH, so used lemon, lime and orange - all the citrus fruit I had in the fridge
