7 or 8 am and I think 9:30 is early enough.

I'll be in Brisbane on Saturday morning so looking at either Rocks Riverside or South Bank. Not sure I'll make it because my host isn't keen and it may well be a late night at the cricket on Friday.

I made it to Rocks Riverside and was back and showered before my host was out of bed. Nice easy run, out and back, mostly by the river. There seemed to be a lot of walkers.

Looks like I'll be at Central Lakes tomorrow morning. The route looks interesting, I will report back after the run.

I made it to Lower Hutt parkrun this morning for the first time in months, much larger field than there used to be (212 people).
I am cheekily extending the Australia title to be Australasia ;)

No problem Jen, for boring reasons I didn't make it to Central Lakes on Saturday, a shame because I needed to be in Brisbane for 9am and I thought it would have been a perfect (and environmentally friendly) time to do it. Will see if another opportunity arises some day.

I managed my best every Australian parkrun time at the weekend at Town of Seaside parkrun. I had a fellow runner behind me for about 3.5km and he just wouldn't overtake, but I didn't want to slow down and just let him past but he did overtake with about 750m to go and I didn't have any energy left to chase him. Worked out great in the end for me. I think I'll do this parkrun again.

Volunteered at Nambour parkrun yesterday. There is a creek with steep sides about half way round. Went with the whole family and effectively walked the whole course. Beautiful start to the weekend as usual.

My wife and son did packenham (Melbourne) this weekend. Great report of a lovely run.
