Yeah but I can't even work out how to get it to show as 5 x 1km of running, OS. In the grand scheme of things it's not that big a deal really but I understand that some weekly "Compromised running" (running after some sort of strength/gym activity) is going to be essential but it won't ever tally into my annual totals etc so there's going to be an under-recording of running which might give me an skewed view of what I've done looking back in a year or two.

Maybe I'm overthinking it. I guess if it really mattered I could clip it or split it or something and record 9 separate activities but it seems a lot of work.

If you're referring to watches, you'd change sport at each activity. You might be able to set up activities to immediately follow each other but not looked into that.

I had a method back then, if it was running a distance of say, 400 or more. I would stop my watch start it again and measure it as a run, anything in between was measured, and uploaded as cross, by wire. Got messy shorter than that, we occasionally did a 5k run, but mainly 200, 400, 800.... because the box was on the Cirencester Agricultural College grounds and was a bit restrictive.....especially with a load of pig shit thicko posh aggie types wandering about in a daze.

I probably need to do a bit of research because in theory if the watch can do a tri then it should be possible to programme alternate splits as runs. I’ll let you know if I work something out.

I know you can do it manually without programming as the 255 has "change sport" when in an activity which I've used once when I was walking but then decided to run for a bit. The programming is obviously what you want for an event though.

Morning, and a good one. Didn't want to go this morning but the boy told me off and the weights went up better than usual

I’ve not touched a sled or a ski erg and I’ve not got a wall to ball. You’re still ahead of me, Maclennane.

Morning all, some pretty impressive training going on in here.

I've been back in the gym for four weeks now, and starting to add a bit more weight. I'm due to go tonight, but still have some doms in certain muscles from Saturday, should i be training those areas again or letting them recover fully?

I accidentally pushed 75kg last week because I misjudged what was already on the sled when I got to it. I just looked up what women push in Hyrox. 102kg! Maybe not yet. 😂
