8 sunny & social miles. Hard work at times.

You could run to shop during run Corrah and pick up some bananas. Can never go wrong with that 😁

Porto half completed. It was warm, 28c when I finished!

Thanks @The Pin Lady I was feeling very far from strong when I saw you 😁 Deep in my personal hurt locker is more like it but worth it for the pb that came with it. The times aren’t up on the website yet but my watch said 1:43:04 so it should be within a few seconds of that. My previous pb was 1:45:xx set in the mid 1990s at the Dartford Half (see above) I don’t remember a nasty hill. Not sure if that’s my aging memory or a change of route.

I enjoyed my dip in the sea, but before I could feel guilty about not going for a run son2 and family came over so that meant I *couldn't* have gone a run even if I'd wanted to :-)
