Morning. I could do with some stretching and strengthening (there’s nothing stopping me doing stretching and strengthening other than lack of ambition.)

I have run. 3.5 miles. Go me :)

It's looking like the only run window this week :(

Morning,

ITG/Columba - never been to the Blue Lagoon but on our cruise up the coast of Norway (Northern Lights), the dash from inside to a hot-tub on the outside deck was similarly swift!

LD - well done re Linda Franks yesterday (just read your blog)

LindsD - boo to no more run windows this week

I didn't run yesterday but with LD's 'purposeful running' idea still in my head (from reading her blog), I got stuck in to my run this morning, tried to stop myself plodding around and managed 4.7mls at 10:34 pace (a tad quicker than usual) so go me :)

And I managed to squish all my Fetchpoint bugs o/

I have body pump DOMS. Working from home today whilst my new boiler gets fitted :) Might have a little run this evening or go to a class, but depends what time all this work is finished.

Hope it gets sorted Corrah I think you have been very patient, wood burning stove or no.

Ran back from work to Surbiton: it was quite purposeful in that I would’ve missed the school run if I’d missed this train :-) tomorrow I do the reverse with only work to be late for, I feel a lot more relaxed about that

Well done Dipps! :-)

I just entered the London Marathon. Think I've heard about it before, it's quite popular, apparently.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
