Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Am happy to still regularly see 4xx and occasionally 3xx on MY Garmin. However… all runs 150m or shorter 😀

Problem I have is I’m no quicker over short distances than long. A track miles makes me look like I’m setting off with my handbrake on :-O

My track mile PB is slower than my average mile pace for my 5k PB, which was an undulating road race. But I get slower after that and my average pace fades away between half marathon and marathon.

Went for my lunchtime run yesterday and made the mistake of wearing a baseball cap instead of a wooly hat. My follicly-challenged head and ears were damn cold, especially when it started to snow - and that wasn't forecast. Off out in a few minutes, this time more suitably attired!!

I'm struggling with the opposite @Mountkeen being lucky enough to be in Tenerife currently. Too hot for me, even at 7:30am, so I'm only managing 5k each time.

Back at my best I did manage a 7 something timed mile, but I'm way off that pace these days.

90/120/150/120/90 sprints with walkback recovs (ie short), 300 walk then: 120/90/60.

Whole session done and dusted in 27 minutes. Way to go, me!
