Yoga can be a wonderful de-stresser. When I was going through huge job stresses and facing redundancy it was the one bright spot in my week. I do pilates now, but am still a big yoga fan. The trick is to find a good teacher who suits your style.

well, all classes shopuld be able to cater for beginners if the teacher is half decent
personally I would go for hatha yoga(tho my fave is DRU-not avalable everywhere) Ashtanga is more of a fast class the clas should ideally last 90 mins, to allow for relaxation at the beginning and end of the class It very much depends on the individual teachers though

Magbag - Iyengar yoga would be ideal ("hatha" yoga is a generic term BTW for any yoga focusing on physical postures and breathing). You can find a teacher or class near to you on the following website by entering your postcode down the right hand side. All teachers on here have gone through a rigorous 2 1/2 year training program and examination before they are allowed to teach. Focus is on alignment and safety in postures so ideal compliment to running!
