I am still "so last year" only runnering for me so far really. Still happy with start to year as would expect the time/miles to increase as the sun starts to shine for longer as year goes on

On the up side I just ran a half Mara without seeming to cause further injury to my recovering body. On the down side it was nearly 30mins slower than I had been hoping for a month ago (tho bang on my target today) On the up that means 30mins extra of training to log.

I find it frustrating when my legs are whinging and my CV system telling me I'm not really pushing myself. Oh well, hope I can hang to the fitness and get my pace back.

It will come sioux - CV is the cake, leg speed is the icing. Can't have icing without cake. And it takes longer to bake. I'm not sure where I'm going with that analogy, but have some anyway! :-)G

ROFL!! great analogy and last year the goodie bag was a bottle of micro brewery beer from nearby with special labels etc. I thought I'd be giving that to OH as off the stuff till VLM but this yr we got a buff- RESULT!!
