There is a regular yoga class 4 mins walk from my front door, I too have never had the nerve.

This helps a bit as it’s a brand new gym so everyone is new to the class even if they’ve done yoga before. The previous place was well established and had a lot of very serious looking yogis doing super hot and sweaty classes. I did a few but quickly learned which instructors I preferred, but the class I went to mostly was more of a mix of yoga, pilates and general core.
Got organised to do spin first, then shower and change for yoga so I wouldn’t get cold.
Got settled in the class with some others then the instructor didn’t show. Turns out she’d not told the gym, just added it to a group chat that didn’t get seen.
A few of us did our own moves for 10 mins or so, then I’ll rebook for next week. A bit annoyed by it, the gym is so new there are still lots of niggles, but I came home and did Day 28 TLC, which was actually perfect after a class.

Made it! And on time. Can't say I enjoyed day 30 much - not my scene to make it up as I go along, and kept getting a crooked neck to check what she was up to next. Won't be doing that one again, but I would like to continue doing yoga regularly.
Big thanks to Sharkie for the thread - it's been brilliant.

Day 23 finally done today (Soften). A lovely gentle start to the day. I followed this up with the Feb 1 Yoga for Self Care and then Befriend Your Mind, both 10 mins and the perfect accompaniments to the Soften session. Now I’m all yoga’d out and ready to face Tuesday 😊

Well, 1st Feb. Decided to actually follow through with what I mooted yesterday, and re-start Move (have suggested I”m going to do this with Adriene’s 30 Jan programs the past couple of years, but never done it) Wow! What a difference a month makes is all I can say. i re-read my thread comments from Day 1 Did day 1 this morning pre-run. I was definitely glad to be vertical afterwards. I was glad it wasn’t too explanatory for a first session. Looking forward to seeing how the month progresses.
This morning it felt like there was very little downward dog/3 legged dog. My wrists weren’t aching, I felt strong the whole way through, and to be honest it didn’t feel like it was a half hour session, I was surprised when she transitioned to the back, was wondering where the rest of the ‘upside down stuff’ had gone…i’m really looking forward to re-visiting the rest of them now (minus days that I have said I didn’t enjoy to allow for shorter month 😜)
Thanks everyone for all the support/suggestions/chat on this thread over the last month, it’s made me think about it a lot more and I think I’ve benefited as a result 😁

I did Adriene's sun salutations video from (I think) the original 30 days series. I used to do it a lot, but today the pace seemed so gentle and the moves were very straightforward. Previously, I've not felt that way about that video.
