Day 27 done. Copied from log:

Was mighty scared of this, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I didn't do sets two and three of three-legged dog to mountain climber though. I don't need those in my life. I quite liked the abs exercises at the end. I also quite like horizon pose now, though the right side is much harder than the left for me.

Might try day 28 later.

Day 28 is infinitely easier though a bit beyond my flexibility in a couple of places (nothing major). And short :)
I want to work on horizon pose, feel as though part of my problem is not understanding how to move from the previous position and winding up in a tangle.

Question about horizon- is the hip supposed to be on the floor?

According to Google- you drop your hip as low as you can.

Looking at the photos Google throws up, I think I might have been overthinking it! I will have a practice when I do some stretching later.

I dropped off the thread for a while but I did complete the 30 days with a small break as I was I the Lake District with no signal! Have decided to continue with it using the Feb playlist but might hop about as some of the sessions are really long so no good for my quick weekday morning sesh, better for weekends. Have really enjoyed it and it's helped me finally be able to get flat feet in downward dog! Wooooo

I highly recommend a face to face class. All the one's I've been to have been very welcoming and usually give easier options like Adriene does. Most places do beginners classes too if you feel like you want to start there. I did. There is something more relaxing about going to a yoga studio and practicing in a group. I will admit I try harder too when I know the yoga teacher is watching 😂😂

Sounds like a good outcome for you Mikuro. (Hope the Lake District was fun too)

I agree about face to face classes - even a zoom type thing would probably help. I say the same thing about gym and weights, bootcamp, any sort of exercise system really. It's not vital but is well worth getting your form checked over by someone who knows what they're doing.

Here's a good example ... it took me ages to figure out the difference between pliés and squats. I'd been doing pliés since I was seven - nice and low, nice and straight - and assumed I was just as proficient at squats, just didn't need to bother with the graceful arms....

All done! xxx

This is possibly just for me, mine all mine.

I'm all signed up for Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga: 'Move'. There's already a thread that's survived two previous incarnations (I believe I started that, too, back end 2019) I expect most Fetchies will post on there, or perhaps on the 'The Yoga Every (well, some) Days Thread'. Or somewhere else entirely. Or not at all.

HOWEVER
I reserve the right not to bother with Adriene's Day 30 if it takes its usu...
