Sorry to hear that Stu. 34 miles is still some distance though!

Done! I’m a bit behind on the results though! How did everyone get on in July, July and August? I'll give myself a medal for 70 miles at Endure!

49 miles a week would see me at 3650

75 miles a week for 4,000

I’m not sure what I’m doing really! Still running every day with a marathon once a week. I’ve also started a new job working part time 12 hour nights so I need to fit in around work too!

How’s everyone else doing, it’s nearly the end of the month?

Phenomenal running, jelly :)

I'm getting further and further behind. So many distractions, so few hours in the day.

Well done, Jelly. That's a lot of miles!!

114 miles left for the 2,000 for me. (Just checking out the tech, kids). I probably would have got there this month but illness and injury has meant only 100 miles so far this month. All being well, I should get there around the middle of October which is WAAAAAY ahead of where I expected to be. 2000 miles has been my highest mileage years so this was unexpected :-)

I have had a good month in terms of racing as I managed to PB at Half and 10K distances, so I was very pleased with those. I also went around New Forest Marathon on the weekend, which was my 90th marathon, so into the 'nervous nineties' now, and need to start thinking a bit about the 100th. It was a trail race, and although I don't love trails it was a good event.

Anyway, New Forest had a running festival going, with camping, live music and a range of different distances over the weekend so OH and I had a great time up there (although the 110-mile journey from Devon took 3.5hrs on the way up!). In terms of this mileage challenge, I am still a bit behind, but I can still catch up. I have been behind since early in the the year, as February was a more or less a write off for me in terms of running (I fell and suffered mild concussion).

Well done Big G, I did the New Forest Half in 2018 and would love to go back for the marathon sometime but it’s a very long drive from here!
