This is just the calm before the Abingdon storm CW.

It is nice not to be injured this summer but I must say I just can't keep fit off these reduced mileages. Looking forward to some serious Aug / Sep toil.....

I'm >120miles behind target, so almost 15%, but my highest mileage month in 9-months has given me confidence I can get back on target fairly quickly.

Nelly - You've been utterly plundering in the miles the last couple of weeks!

I'm sitting a few miles up, which given how crap I've felt all year is a surprise.

Had more or less 4 months out with achilles niggles Oct - Jan, tried a run every now and again, to see if any better. Cleared up end of January after concentrated rehab, and since then been running pain/niggle free.

What niggles have you got Hunts, and how bad ? Been to see physio or doc or anyone ?

I have a bit of runners knee and still bothered a bit by the gammy ankle, the one I broke back in December. Ploughing on though, you only live once and all that....

Looking forward to getting some structure back in my training but also don't want to start my Abingdon prep too soon. In a bit of a flat period I suppose. I could have written fat actually, on hols and eating everything!!
