I'm going to have to reluctantly duck out of the 2,000 mile target. Glutes not right and I need to keep stretching and strengthening. Going to revise my target to 1,500 miles and so the goal now is to work towards pain free running.

Seems the sensible choice Huntsman, pain free running is the best goal.
After finally getting round to making a training plan, and mostly sticking to it, I'm happy to be bumping along at target. Only 11 weeks to target race for the year, and some great hot weather acclimatisation over the last week. Anglesey is this hot in September isn't it?

Bad luck hunts, yep sort injuries first.
I've crossed the 1000 mile line today, so over half way now!

Good revision Huntsman, 1,500 is a fine goal too. Pain free running?! That's my goal too but my hip will cause pain until it's replaced. Ugh! Just short of the 1,000 miles and half way. Got a twenty four hour race in July so miles will continue to be fairly high. Well done Chrisull.

You're lucky Fenners.
I can't see me running another step this month unless the stretching/foam roller starts to make a difference.
