Bi quiet on here! I'm still just on target. 3.8 miles up as of today. Had a bit of a wobble this week after a tough cross country run Sunday. Had an awful session on Monday so took an unplanned rest day. Felt much better since. Will probably only make around 36 miles this week so eating into some of the buffer. Going fine so far although I don't really have any buffer yet for holidays / illness etc so will be a tough year still.

Well done, it is a challenging target and I'm never that far over it that I feel comfortable. I had a peek in the 1500 miles thread and their top 10 has run the same distance as ours, so I think some of them should be here to keep us company :-).

I agree it's really hard. I am upping my mileage quite a bit to hit it and I got a bit of knee pain last week so I had to back off a bit. I'm still up but if I am going to get niggles through the increase in mileage I might have to give up on the target - we shall see!

How's everyone doing? Just completed Woky half which included a taper and this week I'm recovering so mileage is lower. Rest day today so I will be 0 miles ahead tomorrow. I think I'll be back on it with the long run on Sunday.
I'm looking at increased mileage to make me strong for key races. Woky half was one of those. Initially disappointed missing 1:30 but is was so damn windy and I was a minute quicker than last year which was ideal conditions. Hopefully I can continue to improve at Maidenhead10 my next key race.

I'm a bit up, but it's early days yet! The miles will help cw, and if the wind at Wokingham was anything like that at snake lane, your time will be worth a bit more. What's the main target for you?

My main targets to get quicker at what ever I do! I'd like to improve my times from 1 mile to HM and maybe (just maybe) have a go at a marathon (if I can find a nice flat easy one near home, that's cheap and not on my sons birthday)

I'm up by about 90 miles, looking for another 200+ mile month, tiredness beginning to become more of an issue, will very slightly taper for Bideford Half on March 6th. Hope everyone else is good.

I should be about 120 up once I get out for my run this evening. I imagine I'll be a couple of hundred up before Manchester then fall back a bit in April/early May.

About 9 miles up as of today. Going pretty well, have got a good routine of running to or from work and a lunchtime run which seems to have made it feel like I'm not doing too high mileage. Trying to build up a bit of a buffer before a holiday in May as I won't be doing as much on holiday! I'm not marathon training though so this mileage should maintain throughout the year rather than have high mileage early then lower later on.
