Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Had to take a day or two rest after having a lot of blood in my urine (ugh!) and not sure of cause. Waiting for results of tests and don't think it's long distance running related as it can be sometimes. Bit peed off (!!!) though...!

ok...and what a run! Mud mud glorious mud thanks to the early morning rain! Turned nicely into sunshine and the 32. 75 miles wasn't a problem except that I fell on slippery driftwood on one beach at twenty miles and took a few minutes to recover. (I take warfarin so have to be careful of bleeding!). Did 6.32.05 and quite happy with that.

Wow, great running. I did 70km this week so I'll still slightly ahead. Got a few 10Ks coming up so I'm going to dial back the mileage and get a bit of speed going.

thanks folks! Recovery run today; discovered my time was actually 6.36 (ugh) as Garmin stopped automatically when I fell so I was on the deck for about four minutes!! Feeling fine and no after effects of any sort other than bruising.

Well done all, I'm up 18 miles as of this morning. Feeling fairly comfortable now and got used to getting in the extra runs around commuting. Ran a 43:02 10k at the weekend which is 45 seconds off last years time and I'm around 10 pounds heavier than when I did that so the higher mileage is definitely working, just got to get some of the excess weight off now. Got a 10 day holiday coming up in May so I'll likely use up my buffer and drop back a bit so I'll have to up it a bit in the weeks following that.
