Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm over halfway there now after London. Now the hard part, keeping up the mileage with no marathon to aim for.

I'm thinking a sub 80 HM target as a completely different challenge. Keep the mileage decent but not at marathon level with more racing and speed work. I've done back to back marathon campaigns and I need a change for a little while.

Postieboy I'm not at your level but that's exactly what I'm doing this year getting my short race times down.

I tend to get shorter during the summer so I work on 5K/10K also. There's a couple of 10K race series with one run a month in the summer and I try to get quicker on each one. I'm hoping to get back below 19min for 5K and 40mins for 10K and I'm in awe of 80mins for a half! (My goal is sub 88). I really hoping all these miles will make me stronger! What goals does everyone else have?

126 miles up, and the relentless consistency has bought PBs at 5/10k with a plan to target 5k over the summer, then 10k/hm over the winter.

CW, the extra miles will definitely bring rewards longer term :)

Been taking it fairly easy this month, almost 100 behind par but TP100 at the weekend should help realign things a bit :-)
