I'm in. Need something to aim for this year as I've not got any big events planned and don't want another easy going year like last year.
Slow start but 44 miles last week have brought me back close to target.

I've definitely got to concentrate with this as a target. You can't have many off days! Did 17miles yesterday (my most daily mileage for a while) so I can have a day off today. Back on it tomorrow

No posts for 2 weeks. How are we all doing? Looking at the table >>>> it appears most of us who have joined the group are ahead of target.
I'm quite a bit ahead of the curve, but that was always going to be the case with marathon training, and this was more of a target to help me focus in the second half of the year.

I'm ahead of target but I must say it's hard to find time to do the miles. I am running to and from events to make up the distance eg parkrun, XC, club but he legs do ache (probably doing 10Km+ more a week than last year). Also I having a dilemma on tapering for races. I've got Woky Half in 3 weeks and I feel I have to back off a bit to get fresher legs for that, but then I slip off target!

Slightly above target, or I will be again after today's run. Feeling pretty good so far, have started alternating between running and cycling to work, and one or two lunchtime runs a week to help get the miles in without taking up too many weekday evenings.

Yep - I will be over 50 ahead after today's run, January is my 3rd highest mileage month every, and only 4 miles off my highest. Hoping for 200 in Feb as well, and then March will be make or break month marathon training wise, once the nights start getting a bit shorter!

Wow, that's massive mileage - keep that up you'll do 3228 for the year. When do you find the time?

I make time at my own expense. I'm also enjoying my training greatly at the moment so its no hardship at all

I'm in again
The plan is simple... don't drop behind par for half year and see where we end up!
Good luck every one....oh and stay injury free
