Woooo go Doc
10 miles done. Running through woods in the snow... doesn’t get much better than that

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Well done Toks. That's a very determined marathon performance. Thanks Mrs J for custodianship and Doc for taking over.
Thanks for good wishes for my 1500. Sore left calf after XC yesterday. I may limp my way over the line with some easy recovery runs but looks like long runs are cancelled.
-8C up here in central Scotland. Lots of ice but no snow. Instead blue skies and sun. Nice actually! G

Well done Doc, and thanks to Mrs J for doing an excellent job looking after the thread this year.
Well done Toks, that sounds like a tough marathon. One of my friends did it too and said she found it a real struggle with the heat.

Jono.
good morning Fetchlings
the snow appears to have missed the peninsula so far today - cold and breezy along the coast - winter running jacket on, still in shorts, took the gloves off after 2 miles (to warm!)
well done Toks - lovely stuff.
Chuffed to bits Doc Moye is taking over - I'm sure the thread will be in good hands.

Thanks all I’ll do my best to keep the best thread on Fetch running smoothly. Mrs Jigs has done a wonderful job this year and all you guys are great mates to run through the year with. I’ll let you know when I start the thread.

Welcome to the leadership, Doc, and thanks to Mrs J. for looking after us this year.
Following the cancellation of this morning's XC race because of the snow, I went out for my own 12 miles run over trails in the still falling snow - wonderfully invigorating!
Excuse me if I don't pop in here much for the next few days, but the "falling snow" effects on this page are making my eyes and brain go funny (not in a nice way :-() and I can't find a way to switch them off (the effects, not my brain and eyes ;-)).

I'll add my thanks to Mrs Jigs and Doc Moye.
Well done Toks on completing a tough marathon.
10 miles for me this morning. Dodged most of the rain, but boy that wind was strong. Nearly lost my Fetch cap.

Merry Fizzmas :-)
I don’t think there’s any way to switch them off, flatlander. But they only come on if someone writes “snow” on the page.
(hope you see this)
Congratulations doc, thanks for your hard work this year, Team Jigs xx
