Hubby's slowly approaching home...though I think his ETA was a little optimistic. Then again he had finally got on the A30.:) Great news to hear about Doc Moye being our new caretaker and many thanks to Mrs Jigs for this year's care of the thread.

Hubbywatch is over...he made it home and praises our little Toyota hybrid for managing to keep moving with the 4x4 vehicles, in spite of it not being one.:) It helps that he knows how to drive in the crappy stuff from Canada.:)
It was carnage on the M25 with jackknifed trucks (what you'd call lorries!), cars slid all over the place and some that had skidded 180 degrees, so were facing oncoming traffic!

Ding Doc merrily on high
Nasty conditions out.
I’m in front of the fire. Children have been playing in the garden for hours.

Ooh, well done Doc! And thank you MrsJigs!
Was up at 5:30 for my race this morning cold and bucketing down with rain when we got there, thankfully it eased for the race. Was a bit worried I wouldn't get my car out of the field after, managed it but it is now covered in mud. Plenty of others were well and truly stuck!

Thank you all, it was my absolute pleasure to be able to steer us all through 2017, very grateful to Doc for volunteering to do the same in 2018
No running here today, too much snow, just walking in it was hard enough, hope it doesn't freeze over.

No running today, and the sort of slushy snow we’ve had here put paid to our plans for the day as it wasn’t pleasant trying to walk in it.
We’ve made our way to Paddington via tube, after the taxi company I had booked with at 13:30 to pick us up at 17:15 texted me 10 minutes before they were due to arrive saying they could be up to 45 minutes late. When I rang their office they said they had a shortage of drivers, but I’m sure they would have known that a little earlier on, fortunately I had factored in lots of time as our train isn’t due for another half hour. So far it says it’s on time, fingers crossed.

Update jen?
I've enjoyed feeding the burds, several times. Shifting snow. Feeding burds. Looking out the window. And polished my shoes and ironed a shirt.
We did not go running today.
