Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice on JK. Happy birthday for yesterday to Doc's Dog. I have also parkrunned. It nearly did for me. I shall be spending the rest of the day recovering.

Course PB though so worth it.;-)

Well done Jabber's I've never managed a 70 WAVA.

I have volunteered at Corby parkrun and so far washed one car.

Well done, Nellers

'I've never managed a 70 WAVA YET' - you missed that last word off your sentence, WW. Plenty of time for you, and the times get a bit easier as you get older, of course.

I've had my kit on to get out for 10 miles for about 90 minutes. I keep finding interesting things on the internet. Time to go!

Well done on the SB and 75% WAVA grading JK - top running!

Belated happy birthday to Doc's dog, and good luck to everyone racing today.

Nellers, I can sympathise, I've been almost ready to go since 7.45 - been distracted by the internet also.

We managed to meet up with the uni friends we were supposed to meet on Thursday night on Friday night instead, we went to a nice real ale place that opened about 6 months ago (and is owned by a local priest/vicar), we've been meaning to try it so it was a good excuse to go. Neither of us drink very much normally, so even after the few halves of beer I had I felt less than brilliant at parkrun yesterday, but Mr J was on pints so felt decidedly ropey and didn't make it to parkrun.

Jono.
Mr J can be excused after his wobbly legs episode Jen.

11 miles this morning, felt warm out there, pace was all over the place.

currently eating lemon curd on toast.
