Hope your hip is ok GG. Hope you feel better soon too Steve.
Well done LL! HS I still have a bit to go before I reach target ;-).
Was out in the rain with the buggy this morning, 4 miles done, he fell asleep.
I don't believe my garmin either, although I have never had an 8, I did get a 5 last week never had that before.
I'm on annual leave next week, hoping to get out for a daylight run on Tuesday.
Remember the clocks change on Saturday/Sunday. It's going to be dark here at 4pm roughly, not looking forward to that.

All ok today thanks. A dark, damp morning but nice to know that I'll be having some light mornings now for a while. Those very early dark evenings aren't the best Lesley..do you have lights on the buggy? You seem to be doing fine these days. I'm not surprised that you remain aware of that miniscus injury hs, but does it hamper you in being "free" on your runs? By your pace it doesn't seem so but even sub consciously I guess it lingers. A bit over 5k this morning and missed the serious rain which poured earlier.

Good to hear that you are feeling better today Steve, and that you just missed the heavy rain during your run.
I ran 10k this morning on a hilly road course, and was absolutely drowned by the very heavy rain 🌧 I'm running "freer" nowadays Steve and getting back into my pre injury running style, which means that I am more relaxed when running quicker. I'm always aware of the knee, but have learnt to ignore it.

Well done chaps and Lesley on your buggy run.
Very soggy parkrun for me sneaked under 30 by the skin of my teeth…

Did a run today and hip feels fine it was a bit sore but I think a lot of it was from the massage pressure point. It did feel a bit tight initially but wore off as my run progressed. Been running up and downstairs sorting house for visitors tonight I couldn’t have done that yesterday. Phew.

That's good to hear GG. A Run often helps to ease aches and pains.

Returning slowly LL, much happier than I was. Perhaps because I'm running slightly further than I was. I much prefer long to short. My shortest would have been a 7.8 mile route for intervals or tempo runs except for recovery runs on a grass field. Hoping to run regularly 3 days a week and get into a habit before progressing.
