Ahh...feeling good again LL! What's the secret๐Ÿ˜‚? I think my base ability re VO2, HR relationship to pace has gone downhill. I know we have all written about running how we feel and unfortunately my feeling not so good is directly related to my HR and the slower pace I am able to maintain. How to get back to levels of 5-7 years ago is a quoandary; I might have to accept that age has impacted, doesn't happen with everyone though. Still, I'm enjoying the runs despite the grumbles and have no intention of giving up.
Good interval session Evangel, my intended regular intervals have slipped yet again!

Well done Lesley and LL! Defrosting the fridge, yes I do like to live dangerously ๐Ÿ˜

We are all running slower as we age Steve, and I'm having to work really hard "just standing still" ๐Ÿคฃ

I ran the first 5k for many weeks, with Sarah who I ran the virtual London Marathon with on 3rd October. We were aiming for 30 minutes, but were pleased with 30.07. As a matter of interest, my average HR was 142, max 156.

Hi all, still loitering here. Some good running going on and good to see new people commenting. Shame lots of the old regulars have moved on.

367 miles for the year to date. It's been a bit of a shit year but I'm slowly getting back to it.

Good to see Lesley getting back to it and getting stronger too with pushing that buggy.

Has anyone heard from Peter?

I haven't seen much from Peter, not much on Facebook from him either. I might drop him a message to check in.

That would be nice Lesley.

I did a club track session tonight. Wet dark and cold dreaded it. Turned into a great session that I really enjoyed.

Hi folks,

L4/5 disc problems this year resulting in left leg impact pain resulting in almost totally curtailing running and a lot of other activities despite physio input. Silver lining was that swimming was fine.

I stopped following the 1000 mile thread when I was not running (and thought I might never run again)

Finally turned the corner after having got to the point where I was struggling to walk up stairs normally.

Aqua walking is the order of the day!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Still to see spinal surgeon but doubt he'll want to operate now things are improving.

Now improving on parkrun but still far from my usual 27 minutes.

Won't be making 1000 miles in 2021 but may come back in 2022. I had thought I had run my last marathon but now begin to think about a 25th ...๐Ÿค”

Off to Glenogle this weekend to take Elspeth to Glen Ogle 33. I'm just the driver!

Hi Peter, sorry to read your news but hope you manage to get yourself fixed soon. Good to know you're still around and managing to do some exercise.

Hi Peter, great hearing from you again ๐Ÿ˜€ It's really good news that you are making progress, and even contemplating your 25th marathon!

Very cold and windy this morning, but I ran 13k in the forest.
