Thanks FF, she is looking forward to the "proper" London and also her interview with Gabby Logan. There is a yellow warning for rain all day on Saturday, so the trails, fields etc. will probably be waterlogged on Sunday. Not to worry, we won't be going for a time, just to get round!

Lesley & LL, I do hope you soon shake off your infections etc., and regain your strength and fitness.
HS, I do hope your virtual London goes well. If you are paddling through a lot of mud on Sunday, it really is going to be tough going for you. Be careful about strains and other injuries in such conditions. However, the weather is likely to be better on Sunday than Saturday, if that's any compensation!
GG, well done on your mileage thus far. You are about 120 miles ahead of me at the moment! You're doing brilliantly.

A gloomy morning here but a good 10k with the trails just light enough to run along early in my run. Do you have a specific start time hs?

Thanks everyone for your good luck wishes for our Marathon and virtual Marathon!
Evangel, we will definitely be taking it very cautiously in the forest, because having run the course before (the Marathon is twice round the course,) we know how tricky it will be underfoot. Thankfully it is not forecast rain on Sunday.
We will be starting at 8.30am Steve and owing to the expected underfoot conditions, will probably expect to take around 6 hours. We are not aiming for a particular time, just to get round safely. However, Sarah who is running the "real" London Marathon should run sub 5 hours. I'm hoping her interview with Gabby Logan at 9.10 Sunday morning goes well.

Thanks LL, it will be quite an experience for her going out live, with no editing etc.
