Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

LL, if you have done the training, you should be OK, in spite of a bad run this morning. You know the saying, " Good day, bad day, etc.". Decide about it on the morning. What HM are you doing?

Thanks Evangel It isn't a race just wanted to get to 100 miles in August.
No pressure other than I put on myself.
I am starting a 12 week plan this week to race a half in November.

Thanks LL, I'll certainly ensure that I'm hydrated, and will carry my water bottle for the run.

My headache has eased now, so hopefully it will be all systems go for tomorrows 16 miler.

I've signed up for the world record attempt for the end to end 5k on the 4th September. The current record is 6718 runners, so we hope to beat it.

I hope the 16 is going well hs. The conditions are good for long distance here this morning although maybe the wind is a bit keen.
A half LL! Phew, way beyond me but I enjoyed my 3 miler despite great caution over an " iffy" foot when I couldn't put weight on it yesterday.

A fine run yet again for you gg.

The 16 miler went really well Steve, in fact it was 16.31miles. Conditions were cooler which was perfect for running, and the forest has dried out. Next week is 18 miles.

Glad you enjoyed your 3 miler despite the worry of an iffy foot.

Well done HS that’s a great distance.
Well done Steve hope your foot is ok.
I ended up doing just over 14 I was inspired by mention of the sheepy shuffle.
Still left myself with 1.4 to do to get a 100 for the month.
