Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've not got enough left to make any less a bonus re going faster!
A good few days running now in a better frame of mind, my wife insists my lack of pace/distance has its root in my mental approach over the last couple of years. I think she's right. That and some better calorie intake etc and I'll be flying!!

Just dropped off the granddaughter 20 miles over the next few days to get to my target.

Well done Steve I find running is mostly about positive mental attitude. Mine can be quite poor at times. Last week when I did my parkrun Pb I had visualised running a PB before and told myself “I could do it”

Steve, I've got no hair on the top, just at the sides.

Glad to hear that you are in a better frame of mind now. I'm sure that your running will improve, with the encouragement of your wife, and that you will soon be in double figures. Well done for this morning's 5 miles.

LL, you are nearly there, and I feel that you will soon overtake me on the leaderboard.

A very enjoyable forest run this morning with six running friends. We ran 6.67 miles, consisting of warm up, 30 minutes tempo pace, warm down.

Take care HS drink plenty of water you maybe dehydrated. I’m having second thoughts about a half after an awful 4 this morning.
