Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Scunthorpe isn't too far away from south Yorkshire is it.
@Looby Loo possibly but I work Friday evenings and depends when I finish which is usually around midnight. I'd need to be up around 7 to travel north in time.

@geordiegirl I am sorely tempted, though worry the weather will be more last year or this past week! It has gently suggested (!) that I should limit myself to one ultra next year and I'm keen to do TDS in Chamonix...

I'm typing this on my tablet, which is much slower at the moment until I get up to speed. I'm a touch typist on my laptop, but this will take some getting used to.

It seems that most of the parkruns in the area have cancelled, due to heavy rain and strong winds being forecast.

I'll post a bit more tomorrow, probably on my phone or laptop, which will be quicker.

Hey there all hope everyone is well and the recent snow and ice not curtailed the running too much.

Managed two back to back runs this week Mon/Tues and Thur/Fri as I continue the calf rehab. Got to admit it’s been a lot slower than I hoped and really frustrating but getting there safely is better than breaking down again.

Hope everyone has a great weekend indoors looking at the forecast 🙁

YTD 1210 miles.

Greetings from HK! We arrived mid afternoon Friday (we’re 8hr ahead) it’s cooler than last year so a tad worried I’ve brought the wrong clothes.

I will try to run when I wake up later currently awake as my body cloaca is messed up bit going to try to get a couple more hours.

The forecast back home sounds awful
Stay safe and dry. They had typhoons here last week!

We are back in for Meriden next year my pals all got in with quiz think our 3 has grown to 7! We must be mad and I suspect you will be right re the weather EdGreig and sensible to stick to 1 ultra!

Stood in the kitchen, cup of tea and about to head down to parkrun. Pouring with rain and very windy (but no snow). Must be bonkers.

Lots of park runs cancelled? Must be quite localised because we ain't got any serious storm here in Cardiff! Cloudy and mild 9c with an occasional puff/gust of southerly wind.
Three devices shows you know a bit about tech hs!
Patience will pay off MrHSc I'm sure although frustrating.
Hope you find that the temperature in HK is actually ok for running gg. Have a great time. Weathering my neck of the woods I'd quite acceptable today. My streak is 145 days and exactly 500 miles today.
Yes... bonkers Donnie1 !

5k mainly on trails this morning which weren't saturated, so far then we've missed storm Bert!

No sign of Bert yet.

Uneventful but cold parkrun.
