I went to Bartley parkrun on January 1st 2022 apparently. I seem to remember a children’s play area near the finish.

Spent today on a course in Brighton, so no chance to run. Course ran from 8.30 to 5pm and with an 80 mile journey each way there was little time for anything else. Long run will have to happen tomorrow.

Ten miler on different routes sounds like the essence of good/nice running Lesley. I remember when ten mile races were widespread and a fabulous distance to test endurance and speed.
It was raining again this morning and I did do a two miler in it (my wife has told me to quit being such a ??!!). Seems worth going for the 50 miles for the month after all. Hmm , how times have changed!(temporarily... )

I love runs like that Lesley... where does this go or oh that's not what I expected. Well done

That sounds like a long day MrsB

Well done on the 2m this morning esp in the rain Steve, I dragged my tired legs out for 2 this morning it could easily have been an extra rest day so better than nothing. It is dry here for a change, I am hating with a passion all this rain I'm sure its adding to me feeling bleurgh.

Well done everyone done great distances. I’ve been away in The Hague parkrunning and also managed a 4 miler this morning before heading home.
Not great but a green tick so far this month.

I'd just about completed my responses to your posts, when for some reason, I lost the lot. I won't start again, but just say you are all doing well.

A nice long 11.66 miles in the forest this morning with the Monday Group. The heavens opened with about a mile to go, so could have been worse.

14 rainy miles today. Hamstring is playing up - but I have physio tomorrow so that is good timing! Wouldn’t say no to some better weather!

Well done MrsB. Have you tried the Brockenhurst parkrun which is held in the college grounds in the summer, and Wilverley Inclosure the rest of the time?

Did the inaugural one - but not the alternate course. I am now 39 parkruns away from my 500 - I just keep missing them for work.

Interval session done today and I did a S&C session yesterday - I don’t know why I have a mental block with them as when I do them I love them!
